Rob Blazka’s Inspiring Journey with the Appalachia Service Project

Rob Blazka, a dedicated member of Bryhn Design/Build for 22 years, recently returned from a life-changing experience with the Appalachia Service Project in Johnson County, Tennessee. He joined five other churches to help improve homes for local families, making them warmer, safer, and drier. Rob worked on two major projects: repairing a family’s trailer by installing a new bathtub and sheathing a veteran’s porch roof, preparing it for metal roofing.

  • Veteran’s Home: Sheathed the porch roof, getting it ready for installation.

Rob’s commitment to community service has led him to take on various projects, such as:

  • Building handicap ramps and decks
