Sometimes the unexpected design choices make the most beautiful and unique outcomes. Green on green is an unusual choice, but for this home, it feels so right.
This Titusville home is situated along the Delaware River near Washington’s Crossing, New Jersey.
The homeowner’s original bedroom was upstairs with steep stairs and since they were not planning to move any time soon, they wanted to move the primary bedroom downstairs.
So, we set forth to create this re-imagining of the floor-plan.
With an eye to aging in place, we used Bryhn Design/Build to create a primary suite, laundry room, primary bath and powder room on the first floor of our home. From the initial planning stages to the final punch list they were nothing short of amazing to work with. Our old house, built in the mid-nineteenth century and added onto over ensuing decades posed lots of unforeseen challenges. They did an absolutely stellar job by creatively solving problems while keeping the entire project on time and on budget. The results are beautiful. We could not be happier.

In addition to the primary suite, we also refreshed their first floor powder-room.
